About Truck 54

Welcome to Truck 54, a mobile food truck that provides job development and pre-employment training program for adults recovering from mental illnesses. Truck 54 offers immediate job development to enrolled members that includes assistance with placement, retention and career exploration. Enrolled members have immediate access to job development, and Employment Specialists begin career exploration with trainees within the first 30 days. Truck 54 continuously emphasizes individualized employment planning. Job development is driven by each individuals needs and desires. Everyone who wants to work is ready to work and our job developers are there to provide assistance in any field individuals are interested in. Truck 54 rolled out in early September, 2014! Funding for the food truck comes from Cenpatico Integrated Services, the regional behavioral health authority which has served Southern Arizona since 1995.
Truck 54 serves up fresh meals to the mobile food scene. The truck is not only a way to introduce Café 54’s authentic food and service to a wider market, but also to connect its unique workforce with the broader community.
Truck 54’s cuisine is best described as American fusion bistro, and reflects the menu served at Café 54. The imaginative and moderately priced menu includes both vegetarian and meat options, with hot and cold entrees, fresh salads, sandwiches and soups, made from scratch daily. Local and organic ingredients are incorporated as available.
